NFL World Responds to Russell Wilson's Reaction to Pete Carroll Russell Wilson has officially responded to Pete Carroll's subtle dig at him earlier this week.

Carroll praised Geno Smith,  who had replaced Wilson in Seattle, for assisting in the play calling for his desire to wear a wristband during the game.

Carroll said if you notice that the Zeno's wristband is coming off it's a big help, it makes things smooth, fast and clean.

And that too is a part of it. We've never done this before. There was opposition to it, so we didn't do it earlier.

Wilson hit back at Carroll, saying that the team "won a lot of games" during his time in Seattle, without him wearing the wristband.

"Pete Carroll and Russ Wilson are taking potshots at each other and I'm here for it," shouted another.

Given all the success the two have  had together, it's a little disappointing to see Wilson and Carroll sniping at each other in public.

This should come as no surprise though, as it seems like they've had enough of each other at the end of their run in Seattle.
