Wilson's Reaction to Pete Carroll
Russell Wilson has officially
responded to Pete Carroll's subtle
dig at him earlier this week.

Carroll praised Geno Smith,
who had replaced Wilson in Seattle,
for assisting in the play calling
for his desire to wear a wristband during the game.

Carroll said if you notice that the
Zeno's wristband is coming off
it's a big help, it makes things
smooth, fast and clean.

And that too is a part of it. We've
never done this before. There
was opposition to it, so we
didn't do it earlier.

Wilson hit back at Carroll, saying
that the team "won a lot of games" during his time in Seattle, without
him wearing the wristband.

"Pete Carroll and Russ Wilson are
taking potshots at each other and
I'm here for it," shouted another.

@ThePostingScout Mario Puig said Wilson felt empowered to protest on
all points, showing that he had gone mad from power many years ago.

Given all the success the two have
had together, it's a little disappointing
to see Wilson and Carroll sniping at each other in public.

This should come as no surprise
though, as it seems like they've had enough of each other at the end
of their run in Seattle.
